ZCC Cutting Tools at AMB 2026: Look forward to the following highlights
- PANGU – New premium high-performance grades for turning, milling and drilling. Designed to meet the highest standards in terms of performance and process stability, thanks to premium coatings. Newly introduced grades include grades for turning hardened steels and difficult-to-machine materials, grades for indexable insert milling and drilling of steel, as well as a PVD grade for finishing and machining hardened materials.

- zTurn Poly – PSC rotary holders for high precision and greater stability.
Minimised downtime combined with higher machine utilisation thanks to faster set-up times. Straightforward tool changes with maximum repeatability. - Extensions to zGroove Compact: Introduction of a solution for axial machining as well as a parting-off solution for CNC production lathes.
- CBN and PVD grades: New high-performance cutting material grades for maximum productivity in hard machining and cast iron machining: Introduction of a new product portfolio, including the YCB8 grades.
- zTurn Poly – PSC rotary holders for high precision and greater stability.
- PGMS – The series for complex contours is now also available as a circle-segment milling cutter with a curved cutting edge. Ideal for roughing, semi-finishing and finishing free-form surfaces, it can be used efficiently and fully automatically, including in 5-axis machining applications. For perfect finishes and excellent service life thanks to optimised tool geometry.
- EMP11 – Hybrid milling cutter for flexible use as both a square shoulder milling cutter and a high-feed milling cutter. Thanks to its self-aligning geometry, featuring V-shaped undersides on the inserts and optimised cutting edges, it delivers reliable machining and a high surface finish – particularly in steel, stainless steel and cast materials.
- UL Series – The UL geometry has been specially developed for deep-hole drilling in materials characterized by high toughness, poor chip formation or a strong tendency to form built-up edges. Thanks to its compact geometry, the new 8xD usable length provides high tool rigidity and process reliability, particularly at high feed rates and cutting speeds. At the same time, tool life is improved, while cycle times, non-productive times and travel distances are reduced.
