The Chinese manufacturer of precision tools is continuing to expand in Europe by developing its business in the UK.
As a Director in Birmingham, David Wilsher will in future manage the business developments for the UK market for ZCC Cutting Tools Europe. Like everyone on his team, he has extensive experience with cutting tools and the special requirements of his domestic customers.
“The new branch office ZCC Cutting Tools Europe GmbH – UK Division, at the centre of industrial production in the UK, is another important indication of ZCC Cutting Tools Europe’s commitment to this market”, according to Wilsher.

ZCC Cutting Tools Europe is affiliated with Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Cutting Tools Co., Ltd., based in Zhuzhou, Hunan in the People’s Republic of China. Since its founding in 1953 the Group has grown into one of the world’s leading carbide manufacturers thanks to the latest technologies and highly qualified personnel. It has more than 2,000 employees and seamlessly provides all processes in the value chain from raw material resources to high-quality cutting tools.
The European subsidiary distributes products to all European markets from its logistics centre in Düsseldorf. The head office has been in the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2006, and another branch office in France since 2016. All told, the company has more than 90 employees throughout Europe.
