Data protection for applicants
The processing of the data, which we have received from applicants, is carried out for the purpose of contract initiation in the context of concrete job advertisements or unsolicited applications. The data processing serves the justification of the employment relationship, the special legal basis results from Article 88 exp. 1 GDPR i. V. m. Section 26 (1) BDSG (new). We process the following categories of data that we have received from applicants: title, first name, last name, a valid e-mail address, address, telephone number (landline and / or mobile). In the event of application rejection, the data will be deleted after three months, unless the applicant has given us consent for a longer storage period. Data protection for online meetings, conference calls and webinars
We use the tool „Zoom” to hold conference calls, online meetings, video conferences and / or webinars. „Zoom” is a service provided by Zoom Video Communications, Inc., which is based in the United States. ZCC Cutting Tools Europe GmbH is responsible for data processing regarding the implementation of „online meetings”.
Note: If you access the “Zoom” website, the “Zoom” provider is responsible for the data processing. Calling up the website is only required to download the software. You can also use „Zoom” if you enter the meeting ID and any other access data for the meeting directly in the „Zoom” app. If you do not want to or cannot use the „Zoom” app, the basic functions can also be used via a browser version, which you can also find on the „Zoom” website.
Data processing: When using „Zoom” different types of data can be processed. The scope of the data also depends on the information you provide before or when participating in an „online meeting”. In order to take part in an “online meeting” or to enter the “meeting room”, you must at least provide information about your name.
Scope of processing: The recording of „online meetings” and the logging of chat content is usually not the case. If we want to record content, we will inform you transparently in advance and – if necessary – ask for your consent. If you are registered as a user with „Zoom”, reports on „Online Meetings” (meeting metadata, data on telephone dial-in, questions and answers in webinars, survey function in webinars) can be saved in „Zoom” for up to one month.
Legal basis for data processing: If personal data is processed by employees of ZCC Cutting Tools Europe GmbH, Section 26 BDSG is the legal basis for data processing. Other recipients: The provider of „Zoom” necessarily receives knowledge of the above Data. „Zoom” is a service provided by a provider in the USA. Processing of personal data also takes place in a third country.
